Quick Microwave palgova / thiratipal

Palgova or thiratipal is a traditional sweet, which takes lot of time and continues stirring, where you have to keep boiling the milk. This can be done easily using microwave and condensed milk. Also, to watch your diet, you can use fat free condensed milk.
Ingredients
Condensed milk - 1 tin
(I used Nestle's fat free 400 gms tin. This serves 6 people each 1 serving)
fresh thick curd - 1 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Use a big, deep, microwave bowl to prepare this, because at first the condensed milk gets watery and boils and raises.
  • First pour the condensed milk. Add curd and ghee.
  • Stir it all together. Use a non stick spatula, so that it will not be too messy. Now place the bowl in microwave and set it high for 2 mins. Take it out. At this stage it will be watery. Stir it and keep it again for 2 mins.
  • Repeat this until it turns out little thick and color changes to very light brown. But do not keep it at a stretch for more than 2 mins as it can burn. For this quantity, it will not take more than 7 mins ~.
  • Take it out and let it cool and make it to desired shapes or as such and enjoy!
