My mom learnt this recipe from her sister who lives in Bombay. It is a very simple gravy that tastes good with chappathi.
Onion - 1 medium sized
tomato - 3 riped ones
green chilli - 2
red chilli - 1
besan - 2 tbsp
curry leaves
corriander
mustard
turmeric
salt
First in a pan heat little oil and add mustard, when it splutters add jeera then add chillies, curry leaves, add onions and saute it well. Then add cut tomatoes and add tumeric. Then in a cup, mix besan with water and bring it to nice watery consistency and then add it to the pan and let it boil well so that the raw smell of besan goes out. Add water as required and garnish it with coriander leaves.
