Mushroom biriyani

mushroom biriyani
list 1:
Mushroom - 1 cup
Basmathi rice - 2 cups
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
mint leaves - 1/4 cup
corriander leaves - 1/4 cup
coconut milk - 1 cup
lemon juice - 1 tsp
Green chillies -2 
turmeric powder 

list 2:
mint leaves - 1/2 cup
coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Cloves - 2
Green chilies - 2 
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic - 2 pods
poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
cardamon - 3

1. Grind the ingredients in the list 2 with little water and keep it aside.
2. Soak the basmathi rice for 15 mins.
3. Heat the pan, pour oil and when it is heated, add the chopped onions and saute 
4. Add chopped tomatoes and when it is soft, add the chopped mushrooms and fry 
5. Now add the grounded paste and then fry for 5-10 mins until the water evaporates 
6. Now transfer this mix to the rice cooker. Now add the soaked basmathi rice after draining all the water.
7. Add the whole green chillies in list 1. It gives a nice flavour.
8. Add 1 cup of coconut milk and 2 cups of water, salt lemon juice. Stir it well and let it cook.
This taste scrumptious with onion coriander raitha.
