Mattar panner

mattar pannerThis is a very famous dish, which is a gravy that is had along with Indian breads or rice.
list 1:
Panner (Indian cottage cheese) - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
onion - 1 (medium/small sized one)
Tomato - 3(riped ones)
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garlic - 1 pod
list 3:
Jeera - 1 Tsp
cinnamon - 1/2 stick
cloves - 2 nos
list 4: (optional)
corn flour: 1 tsp
cream or thick curd: 1 tbsp

1. Heat the kadai, add little oil and fry the cut panner until it turns brown. Take it out and keep it aside.
2.  Make a paste of ingredients in list 2 and keep it aside
3. Pour some oil in the kadai, when heated add the ingredients in list 3 and then add finely cut onions and fry it until it sautes.
4. Now add the grounded paste and let it simmer for about 10 mins, until the tomatoes gets cooked well.
5. Add the peas. Add little water and cover it again for about 10 mins until the peas gets cooked
6. Add the panner now and then mix it well.
7. Mix 1 tsp of corn flour in little water and add it to the boiling gravy, so that it thickens and not watery. Boil it for 5 mins.
8. For richness you can add 1tsp of cream or curd
