Roasted peanuts - 10
Jeera - 1 tsp
Sesame seed - 1 tsp
Poppy seed - 1 tsp
Coriander seed - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli -2 
tamarind pulp - 1/2 tsp

  • Heat the kadai.  
  • Add a teaspoon of oil in it.
  • Roast the ingredients in the list 1 and keep it aside. 
  • Pour in 1 tbsp of oil. When it is hot, add onions and saute it well. 
  • Then add chopped tomatoes. Add turmeric powder.
  • Take a little portion of onion, tomato sauteed in the pan and grind it along with the ingredients in list 1 including the tamarind pulp and make it a smooth paste. 
  • Now in the pan add chopped capsicum and cook it well. 
  • Now add the grounded paste salt and let it boil by adding water as required. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Spicy capsicum gravy is ready!
