Ingredients
Pearl onions - around 20 nos
Tomato - 2 medium sized
mint leaves - 1/2 bunch
coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch
curry leaves - 1 string
channa dal - 1 tsp
jeera - 1 tsp
red chillies - 2
tamarind - 1 small sized ball
salt
You have to roast ingredients separately and then grind it. Add little oil in a pan and roast channa dal with jeera and red chillies. Take it out and keep it aside. Then fry the onions with curry leaves and take it out, then mint leaves, then tomatoes with coriander leaves. When everything cools down, add tamarind and salt and grind it to a paste. You can serve it as such or season it with mustard. It goes well with crispy dosa!
